In the recent Greek parliamentary elections on June 17, the neo-Nazi “Golden Dawn” party, has managed to score an enormous 6.92%, mainly spurred by financial angst and deep disillusionment with mainstream politicians (previous score 0.29% in the last 2009 elections), electing 18 deputies, despite the fact that some of its party members are alleged for homicide, armed robbery, stabbing and brutal bulling misconduct toward poor, unfortunate immigrants. This is a party openly praising Hitler, the SS and the former Greek military junta regime dictator Papadopoulos (1967-1974), its member’s practice the Nazi salute, in the past Lucifer and Antichrist has been praised by its leader and through their official magazine.
Ilias Kasidiaris, the Golden Dawn’s party spokesman, recently slapped a left woman deputy and threw water in the face of another on live television which was diffused worldwide, he then managed to disappear and hide for two days in order to avoid an immediate trial. A few days later, Kasidiaris presented himself to the prosecutor asking permission … to bear arms (!) accompanied by bodyguards and a priest. The same man is alleged of been involved in an armed robbery; his trial has “curiously” been postponed three times. He has also been accused by leading members of other Right and extreme-right parties of assault.

The Orthodox Church of Greece, is a Church which has been justly accused for its close ties with the former military Junta regime (1967-1974), an official national-state church institution that defiantly surpasses Greek legislation, and often incites ethnic hatred against people of neighbour states, despite the fact that they are Christian orthodox themselves, as those of former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Priests often rally in favour of Golden Dawn in churches (Saint Andreas of Kato Patissia, Archdiocese of Athens, from newspaper ‘Avgi’ 30 March 2012). The Golden Dawn leader paid his respects to the anti-Semite metropolitan bishop Seraphim of Piraeus by formally visiting him at his diocese headquarters to discuss the “immigration problem” (!) while offering him as a gift, a holy icon of Virgin Mary. Metropolitan bishop Ambrosios of Kalavryta (a town-victim of Nazi-war atrocities) backed and praised the neo-Nazis. Even Archbishop himself, Ieronymos, offered
his blessings in Parliament, to the Leader of Golden Dawn spreading him with Holy Water (Photo 3). The churches’ s Head Hierarchy remains an indifferent, neutral spectator to the daily violent pogrom unleashed by the Golden Dawn against those that once Christ himself named, foreigners and immigrants his “least brothers”. Please note the fact that the Golden Dawn MPs appeared at the inauguration of the newly elected parliamentary session of the last elections, accompanied by an Orthodox priest (Photo 2). Even the Greek bishop of Argentina Tarasios of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, was present (September 2006) as a defence witness in the trial of a member of Golden Dawn Antonis Androutsopoulos, fugitive for eight years (unanimously sentenced to 21 years imprisonment, the penalty was reduced to 12 yrs. in 2009) for a homicidal attack on a student named Christos Kousouris (June 1998). Recently the conservative Athenian newspaper “To Paron” (13th May 2012) revealed (without any reaction from the Church) that many bishops voted Golden Dawn and “feel proud for it”.

Η ελληνική Εκκλησία στηρίζει τους Ναζιστές
Στις πρόσφατες εκλογές το ναζιστικό κόμμα ‘Χρυσή Αυγή’ εκμεταλλευόμενη την τραγική οικονομική θέση στην οποία έχει περιέλθει η χώρα και την τυφλή οργή μιας μερίδας του πληθυσμού, πήρε 7% των ψήφων και εξέλεξε 21 βουλευτές. Είναι ένα κόμμα μέλη του οποίου έχουν καταδικαστεί είναι υπόδικα για δολοφονικές ενέργειες, για ένοπλες ληστείες για ξυλοδαρμούς και μαχαιρώματα, κυρίως δυστυχισμένων μεταναστών. Είναι ένα κόμμα που έχει υμνήσει απροκάλυπτα το Χίτλερ, τα Ες Ες, τον Έλληνα δικτάτορα Παπαδόπουλο (1967-1974), τα μέλη του χαιρετούν ναζιστικά, απειλούν και δέρνουν μετανάστες παλιότερα δε ο ίδιος ο αρχηγός του είχε υμνήσει τον Εωσφόρο και τον Αντίχριστο. Πρόσφατα έκανε το γύρο του κόσμου η επίθεση του εκπροσώπου τύπου της Χρυσής Αυγής Κασιδιάρη, ήδη υπόδικου με τη δίκη του να έχει αναβληθεί για συνέργεια σε ένοπλη ληστεία τρεις φορές(και καταγγελόμενου ακόμη και από στελέχη της Δεξιάς και της Ακροδεξιάς πως έχει χειροδικήσει εναντίον τους) κατά δυο γυναικών βουλευτών στη διάρκεια τηλεοπτικής εκπομπής. Ασκήθηκε δίωξη εναντίον του αλλά ο Κασιδιάρης κατάφερε να ξεφύγει και να κρυφτεί ώστε να αποφύγει μια άμεση δίκη. Λίγες ημέρες μετά πήγε στον Εισαγγελέα να ζητήσει άδεια οπλοφορίας συνοδευόμενος από σωματοφύλακες και έναν ιερέα. Η Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία της Ελλάδας, μια Εκκλησία που βαρύνεται για τη συνεργασία της με το στρατιωτικό τυραννικό καθεστώς (1967-1974), μια εθνική κρατική Εκκλησία που υποδαυλίζει συχνά το εθνικιστικό μίσος κατά γειτονικών λαών, ακόμη και ομόδοξων όπως του λαού της ΠΓΔΜ, μια Εκκλησία βουτηγμένη σε οικονομικά και σεξουαλικά σκάνδαλα τα οποία ειδικά το 2005 πήραν διεθνή δημοσιότητα, ευλόγησε με ιερείς της τα γραφεία της Χρυσής Αυγής τουλάχιστον σε Χαλκίδα (25/9/2011), Λούτσα (20/11/2011), Νεμέα (1/4/2012), Kάτω Αχαϊα(29/4/2012), δηλαδή σε τέσσερεις τουλάχιστον επισκοπές (Μεσογαίας, Κορινθίας, Πατρών και Χαλκίδας), μάλιστα στη Λούτσα πανηγυρικά με τέσσερεις κληρικούς, ιερείς της προπαγανδίζουν στους ναούς υπέρ της οργάνωσης (Άγιος Ανδρέας Κάτω Πατησίων της Αρχιεπισκοπής Αθηνών, ‘Αυγή’ 30/03/2012), επίσκοποί της όπως ο αντισημίτης Σεραφείμ Πειραιώς συναντιούνται με τον αρχηγό της, συζητούν το μεταναστευτικό πρόβλημα (!) και του δωρίζουν εικόνα της Παρθένου Μαρίας, άλλοι όπως ο Καλαβρύτων (μια πόλη θύμα της ναζιστικής θηριωδίας) Αμβρόσιος υμνούν την οργάνωση, ο ίδιος δε ο αρχιεπίσκοπος Ιερώνυμος αγιάζει στη Βουλή με αγιασμό τον αρχηγό της, σύσσωμη δε η Ιεραρχία παρακολουθεί αδιαμαρτύρητα το πογκρόμ βίας που εξαπολύει η Χρυσή Αυγή κατά των ελαχίστων αδελφών του Χριστού των ξένων. Να σημειωθεί ότι οι βουλευτές της εμφανίστηκαν στη Βουλή με συνοδεία ορθόδοξου ιερέα. Ακόμη και ο Έλληνας μητροπολίτης Αργεντινής Ταράσιος του Οικουμενικού πατριαρχείου, παρέστη (Σεπτέμβριος 2006) ως μάρτυρας υπεράσπισης μέλους της Χρυσής Αυγής Αντώνη Ανδρουτσόπουλου φυγόδικου για 8 χρόνια και κατηγορούμενου (καταδικάστηκε σε 21 χρόνια φυλάκιση ομόφωνα, η ποινή μειώθηκε το 2009 σε 12 χρόνια) για δολοφονική επίθεση σε βάρος του φοιτητή Χρήστου Κουσουρή (Ιούνιος 1998). Πρόσφατα η συντηρητική αθηναϊκή εφημερίδα «Παρόν» (13.5) αποκάλυψε πως πολλοί μητροπολίτες ψήφισαν Χρυσή Αυγή και υπερηφανεύονται γι’αυτό.

Στο όνομα του λαθρομετανάστη στην Αίγυπτο Χριστού, στο όνομα του δυτικού ουμανιστικού πολιτισμού, στο όνομα των πανανθρώπινων αξιών που πάνω τους στηρίζεται ο πολιτισμός και η ύπαρξη της ανθρωπότητας σας ζητάμε να καταδικάσετε την Εκκλησία της Ελλάδας και να παρέμβετε ώστε να σταματήσει αυτή η παράνοια.
